| What it does | Simplifies complex search operators into ready-to-use Google dorks for faster reconnaissance and discovery. |
| How to use it | Select or input parameters (domain, file type, keywords, or target focus) and Dorky generates ready-made Google dork queries that can be copied directly into a search engine. |
| Cost             | Free.                                                                                                                                                                          |
| Account required | No.                                                                                                                                                                            |

| Use in Reporting | Useful to show how Google dork queries were generated and used to uncover publicly indexed information during OSINT or security reconnaissance. |

### **What does Dorky do?**

**Dorky is essentially a shortcut engine for Google dorking.**

**Instead of manually writing complex search operators, it helps users quickly generate queries that can reveal:**

* **Exposed documents and files**
* **Publicly accessible admin panels**
* **Sensitive directories or endpoints**
* **Indexed login pages**
* **Forgotten or misconfigured web assets**
* **Organisation-specific footprint data**

**Dorky helps users generate and structure advanced Google search queries (“Google dorks”) to uncover publicly exposed information such as files, directories, login pages, sensitive endpoints, and indexed data.**

**The lowdown: It removes the need to remember complex Google search syntax by turning structured inputs into powerful queries instantly.**

### **How to Use:**

**1. Start with a domain, organisation name, or keyword.**

**2. Use Dorky to build queries such as:**

* **filetype:pdf**
* **inurl:admin**
* **intitle:"login"**
* **site:**[**example.com**](http://example.com)

**3. Paste generated dorks into Google and review exposed results.**

**Important Note:** Dorky should be used carefully, as it can easily surface sensitive or unintended data exposure if misapplied.

### Use in Reporting

Dorky can support reporting by helping investigators:

* Demonstrate how exposed information was discovered.
* Recreate reproducible search queries.
* Document OSINT collection methodology.
* Identify publicly indexed sensitive data.
* Support vulnerability disclosure reports.
* Provide transparency in investigative sourcing.

Whilst this tool has a pen-testing lens, it can be used for a variety of applications depending on the scope of the investigation.

| **Capabilities**                                | **Limitations**                                           |
| ----------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Generates advanced Google dork queries quickly. | Only works on publicly indexed information. |
| Simplifies OSINT search syntax. | Heavily dependent on search engine indexing accuracy. |
| Helps uncover exposed files and directories. | Can produce false positives or outdated results. |
| Supports bug bounty reconnaissance workflows. | May surface sensitive data if used carelessly. |
| Useful for mapping publicly indexed data. | Limited to search engine visibility (no deep web access). |

### Summary

Dorky is a lightweight but powerful Google dork generator that helps OSINT practitioners and security researchers quickly build advanced search queries. It’s especially useful in early-stage reconnaissance where analysts are trying to understand what information about a target is publicly exposed through search engines.

### Ownership

Owned by the [Bug Bounty Hunting ](https://www.bugbountyhunting.com/)community project - developed by [Payloadartist.](https://x.com/payloadartist)

### Ethical Considerations

* Do not use dorks to access unauthorised systems or private data.
* Respect terms of service of target websites and search engines.
* Avoid collecting or storing sensitive personal data unnecessarily.
* Be cautious when handling exposed information (especially credentials or internal files).
* Use findings ethically in vulnerability disclosure or investigative contexts.
