What does LeakData.io do?
LeakData.io is a defensive breach-exposure search and monitoring service. It checks authorised email addresses, usernames, phone numbers, and domains against indexed breach datasets, returns matching breach records and affected data classes, and provides a public breach catalogue.
Registered users can save monitors and receive exposure alerts. Enterprise access adds API-key authentication and signed webhooks with formats for common SIEM and SOAR workflows. Its password checker uses a k-anonymity flow so the complete password hash is not sent.
The lowdown: It’s a powerful breach intelligence platform that reveals compromised credentials and leaked personal information, but should be used ethically.
How to Use:
1. Select email, username, phone, or domain as the identifier type.
Note: Enter only an identifier you own or are explicitly authorised to assess. A guest check may require Turnstile and is limited to one search per day.

2. Review the matched breach names, dates, verification state, and affected data classes. Cross-check relevance before reporting or taking action.

3. Create an account only when saved monitoring, risk reports, or alerts are needed as in the below:

The site uses essential session cookies (session-id) and functional preference cookies (ld_locale). The site also sets several Google cookies (HSID, SID, SAPISID, SSID, NID) associated with Google services such as authentication, security, user preferences and potentially reCAPTCHA or embedded Google content (if logged into a Google account or Google resources are loaded).

Do not use exposed credentials for account access, credential stuffing, phishing, or other malicious activity.
Minimise personal data in reports, redact unnecessary identifiers, and consider the harm caused by republishing breach data.
Corroborate matches before attribution or action; an indexed record may be stale, incomplete, or unrelated to the current account state.
Follow applicable privacy law, the affected service terms, and LeakData.io acceptable-use rules.
Protect API keys, webhook secrets, alerts, and exported findings, and delete investigation material when it is no longer needed.
