# NAMINT

| **NAMINT**       | **Quick Overview**                                                                                                                                                                                                    |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| URL              | <https://seintpl.github.io/NAMINT/>                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| What it does | Generates possible username and email variations using combinations of a target’s first, middle, and last name. |
| How to use it | Enter a target’s known first, middle or last name, generate possible naming combinations automatically, then use the results across OSINT platforms and search engines to identify linked accounts or digital traces. |
| Cost             | Free.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| Account required | No.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| Cookies          | Minimal/none.                                                                                                                                                                                                         |
| Ownership | Created and maintained by SEINTPL, based in Poland. |
| Use in Reporting | Useful for reporting on username attribution, online identity mapping, account enumeration, and digital footprint investigations. |

### What does NAMINT do?

NAMINT helps investigators predict how someone may register accounts across platforms by automatically creating common naming patterns used in usernames, handles, and email addresses.

For example, entering: John Michael Smith

Could generate:

* johnsmith
* jsmith
* johnmichaelsmith
* smithjohn
* john\_smith
* j.m.smith
* smith.john
* john1987

This helps analysts uncover usernames that may otherwise be missed during manual searches.

**The lowdown:** Whilst NAMINT doesn’t verify ownership of accounts, it does help generate plausible leads for further investigation.

### How to Use:

**1. Input the target’s first, middle, and last name into the generator fields.**

**2. Allow the tool to generate username and email permutations and pivot into OSINT searches.**

**Note:** NAMINT also now generates Github avatars.

### Use in Reporting

NAMINT can support reporting involving:

* Username attribution
* Online account discovery
* Digital footprint mapping
* Alias analysis
* Social media investigations
* Threat actor profiling

It is particularly useful during the early stages of identifying possible online identities connected to a target.

Whilst there are limited publicly documented case studies specifically naming[ ](https://seintpl.github.io/NAMINT/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)NAMINT in investigations, the technique it supports; username and identity permutation analysis, is widely used in real-world OSINT, cyber investigations, and threat intelligence workflows.

### Summary

NAMINT helps investigators move beyond obvious searches and uncover hidden or reused account identifiers across platforms, making it a valuable addition to attribution and digital footprint investigations, best used during the enumeration and pivoting stage of the OSINT workflow.

### Ownership

Created and maintained by [SEINTPL](https://x.com/seint_pl), based in Poland.

### Ethical Considerations

* Use generated usernames responsibly and lawfully.
* Avoid harassment, stalking, or unauthorised monitoring.
* Remember that username matches do not prove identity ownership.
* Be cautious of false positives during attribution.
