| Ownership | Owned and developed by OSINT Industries. |
| Use in Reporting | Helps journalists and analysts visualise complex networks, explain relationships, and present OSINT findings. |

### What does Palette do?

Palette allows you to transform disconnected pieces of open-source information into visual relationship maps by placing entities into a graph structure. The platform includes a wide range of new search options including cryptocurrency wallets, full names, and locations, alongside username searches via various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, GitHub, Goodreads and many more. It also integrates with District4labs, pipl, YC world, OI, and OI Kiel, with more to be added soon. You can collaborate with up to 10 investigators in real time.&#x20;

**The lowdown:** Unlike traditional link analysis tools, Palette combines entity management, graph visualisation, and native search functionality within a single investigative workspace.<br>

### How to Use:

**1. Create an investigation graph and add relevant entities (from a huge range of options) such as name, DOB, domain, license plate, wallet, weight, eye colour etc. You can also create a custom entity.**

**2. Connect related information points to build a visual network showing relationships between entities. Addresses bring up a visual map as in the below. You can also mark connections as certain, possible, or uncertain so confidence is visible on the graph rather than buried in your notes.**&#x20;

**3. Conduct searches on entities by right clicking then select sources.**

**4.  Review search results and analyse the graph to identify patterns, clusters, links, and possible investigative leads.**&#x20;

### Use in Reporting

Palette supports intelligence reporting by helping investigators transform collected OSINT data into structured, evidence-supported intelligence outputs. Its integrated native search capability allows analysts to discover, enrich and validate information directly within the investigation workspace before incorporating findings into visual intelligence products.

**The platform enables investigators to:**

* Conduct integrated searches directly within the investigation environment.
* Enrich existing entities with newly discovered information without leaving the platform.
* Follow investigative leads by searching from identified entities and relationships.
* Build and refine relationship graphs using discovered intelligence.
* Produce visual evidence including link charts, entity relationships, timelines and geographic views.
* Capture investigative context showing how entities, identifiers and events are connected.
* Support written intelligence reports with clear analytical visuals.

| **Capabilities**                                                                                                                           | **Limitations**                                                                                   |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Creates interactive maps showing relationships between OSINT entities. | Connections displayed in graphs still require human verification and source checking. |
| Helps investigators identify links between people, accounts, organisations, domains, cryptocurrency wallets, license plates and many more. | A visual connection doesn’t necessarily prove a real-world relationship, coordination, or intent. |
| Powerful native search integrated into the investigation workspace. | Poor/inaccurate data can produce incomplete or misleading investigation maps. |
| Includes features designed to support shared investigative workflows (up to 10 investigators in real time). | Data availability depends on supported OSINT Industries modules and search sources |
| Allows investigators to present complex intelligence findings in a visual format suitable for reports and briefings. | Extensive networks may require careful organisation to avoid overwhelming graphs. |

### Summary

Palette is best suited  for those who require both powerful search capabilities and professional link analysis in one platform without needing separate visualisation software.&#x20;

In a standard OSINT workflow, it sits after you have some initial intelligence but can also support ongoing collection because of its integrated search. Data availability depends on supported OSINT Industries modules and search sources.
