### What does ScamDB do?

ScamDB aggregates user-submitted reports relating to online fraud and scams. You can search for domains, URLs, email addresses, telephone numbers, cryptocurrency wallet addresses and other identifiers to determine whether they have previously been associated with fraudulent activity.

Entries often include descriptions of the scam, supporting evidence and community comments, helping you identify patterns and recurring tactics.

**The lowdown:** It’s a niche OSINT resource focused on fraud intelligence.

### How to Use:

### Summary

Scam Database enables users to determine whether websites, contact details or cryptocurrency wallets have previously been reported in connection with fraudulent activity, and is best used during the verification, enrichment and reporting stages of the OSINT workflow.

**Note:** As reports are community submitted, all findings should be independently verified before being relied upon as evidence.

### Ownership

Not publicly disclosed.

### Ethical Considerations

* Treat community-submitted reports as unverified until corroborated.
* Avoid making allegations based solely on a single database entry.
* Protect personal information when submitting reports.
* Verify indicators using multiple independent sources.
* Consider the potential reputational impact of reporting suspected scams.
